Our visit to Elda has left us with a very special memento: from now on, one of the seats at the Teatro Castelar bears the name of La Cubana.

During our stay in the city with La cuisine de ma cousine, the Mayor of Elda, Mr Rubén Alfaro, did us the honour of dedicating one of the Teatro Castelar’s seats to La Cubana, in recognition of the close relationship our company has built with the city and the many occasions on which we have had the pleasure of presenting our shows here.

Over the years, Elda has become one of those cities where we feel especially loved and understood. We have returned time and again with different shows and have always been welcomed with warmth and a wonderful sense of connection from local audiences.

That is why having our name on one of the seats in a theatre that has welcomed us so many times over the years means so much to us.

Our heartfelt thanks to Elda City Council, the Teatro Castelar and, above all, the people of Elda for so many years of warmth and affection!
