Organization of a “Fiesta Española” (Lyon Dance Biennale, France)

The Biennale asked us to recreate a Spanish Fiesta and so we did. All the guests, as they got in the party, met what was to be a typical Spanish show: We tied all men’s shirts to their waist level, and pinned a coronation on all women’s hair. One by one we made everybody have a taste of paella and gave them a glass of sangria. We arranged a journey to our version of the Spanish archetype. It all finished with a dance, and many parodies.
